These terms and conditions are between you and Move More Mindfully Physiotherapy (referred to below as “us", "we", or "our"). “you” and “your” refers to you as the client. You agree to them by using our website, accessing our services or attending an appointment. It is recommended these are read along our privacy policy. If you have any questions about these terms please contact us.
Late cancellations, rescheduling and ‘did not attends’ policy. This includes individuals attending classes, 1-2-1, small group sessions or who have booked home visits:
You must inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. You can do this directly by emailing contact@movemoremindfullyphysio.co.uk. If 24 hours or more notice is given you can opt to receive a full refund or reschedule the appointment. If you don’t provide us with the required notice of your cancellation, you may be charged the late cancellation fee – equivalent to the full fee for that appointment. Missed appointments– or what we call ‘did not attends’ (DNAs) – also result in a charge for the full cost of that appointment.
Attending your appointment – ‘running late’
Please arrive no sooner than 5 minutes early to your private 1-2-1 or small group session – please notify Move More Mindfully Physiotherapy by calling or texting 07394990051. I will also provide this number to you on booking. We understand that sometimes you may be running late. If you are late to your 1 to 1 appointment, your session will end at the time originally planned. For example, if you are 15 minutes late to a 45 min appointment, you will have a 30 minute session left.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for any classes. If you are running late for a class, then you may not be permitted to enter the class. If you are permitted to join the class late, please do so quietly to respect other participants.
Please ensure you are home and ready at the scheduled appointment time for home visit sessions. We kindly request that any pets, children and family members are in another room whilst the session takes place to minimise interruption. If you are running late then I will wait for up to 20 minutes after the start of your appointment time. If you arrive home within this time then the rest of your session time will be provided e.g. if you are 15 minutes late home for a 45 minute appointment then you will receive a 30 minute session. If you are more than 20 minutes late, then this will be classed as a ‘Did not attend’ and result in you being charged for the full appointment.
On the rare occasion that we are running late we will do our upmost best to make this back to you.
Payment
We aim to keep session prices low. Sometimes we may need to increase prices. Should this need to happen we shall provide you with as much notice as possible. All appointments are paid for in advance via BACS. I will provide you with the account information to make payment to on booking. Payment must be received prior to your session. If you are purchasing a block booking of sessions, these must all be paid for at the time of booking. We would recommend scheduling block booked sessions at the point of purchase.

Safety notes and what to wear
It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to engage in the services described and provided by Move More Mindfully Physiotherapy. This includes seeking confirmation from a doctor or other relevant health professional that you are fit to engage in physical activity/the services you are engaging in with us if required.
It is your responsibility to let the Physiotherapist leading your class / treatment know of any changes to your health, medications, or if you become pregnant. If your health changes, it is your responsibility to consult with a doctor to confirm you are still fit to complete physical activity / the services you are engaging in with us.
By reading and agreeing to these terms, you understand that any consequences of you failing to do any of the above are solely your responsibility and no liability is accepted by the Physiotherapist if you are doing this type of exercise or engaging in activities against the medical advice of a doctor or another health professional.
Every effort to minimise potential risks when carrying out physical activity will be made including gathering relevant health information on your initial assessment with us. It is not possible to predict or prevent all risks or individual responses to participation in our services, however. To manage your own risk and wellbeing during sessions/classes with us, you understand that it is your individual responsibility to:
Ensure you bring to sessions/classes any medication you might need, e.g. inhalers and alert the Physiotherapist that you have them, what they are for.
Ensure that you follow instructions given and only exercise within your own ability and comfort zone.
Take rest and hydrate at any time you need to. You do not need to seek approval to do so.
Stop participating if you experience any excessive fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, pain, strain or discomfort.
Alert the Physiotherapist if you feel unwell or am struggling.
Tell the Physiotherapist of any issues you experienced during or after sessions.
For classes:
It may be that further one-to-one in person assessment with the Physiotherapist is required before you can be cleared as safe to attend a class or, that you are not suitable for a class environment at present but could work with the Physiotherapist on a one-to-one basis instead should you choose to do so. If applicable, this will be discussed with you. The Physiotherapist has the right to clinically reason if you are not suitable for a class and therefore refuse you access to attending.
We ask everyone to wear non-slip socks or bare feet when attending sessions in our studio at The Wellbeing Place Chorlton. You may also wear gripped backed shoes/ideally trainers to attend your session at the studio.
For home visits or classes, please wear gripped footwear as above. Bare feet or gripped socks may also be applicable depending on the activity you are engaging in. Your Physiotherapist will advise you on what is best when booking.
For all services, please wear comfortable clothes that you are happy to exercise in and can more freely in. We would advise keeping jewellery to a minimum to avoid the risk of this getting caught and injuring you. You may find it helpful to bring a blanket, warm jumper or cosy socks to your session. These can be helpful if completing mindfulness meditations or exercises where the body can cool down quite quickly.
Paperwork
Every new client will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire at your first session. This is standard practice and non-negotiable. You may find it helpful to bring a list of your medications and note down what you take them for. You will be asked to confirm that your GP or any other healthcare professional has not advised you to not take part in the type of services you are engaging in with More More Mindfully Physiotherapy. If you cannot confirm this and there is reasonable doubt that you would need GP approval to take part, then you may be asked to seek GP approval prior to starting your activity with us and your session may therefore be terminated with no refund.
We keep written notes on every 1 to 1 and small group session. We keep a class register and depending on the class, a pre-class questionnaire for all classes. If you would like to have a copy of these notes please send a signed letter to us using our contact details provided below and include exactly what information you would like to receive. We shall comply within one month.
All information will be stored in line with GDPR law, please see our privacy policy for more information.

Harassment policy
We think and act with positivity, consideration and mutual respect for others. Rude or aggressive behaviour and words towards any staff member or fellow client will not be tolerated. Such behaviour may result in you being asked to kindly leave the session and/or termination of your session with no refund.
Children’s policy
Move More Mindfully Physiotherapy currently only offers sessions for those aged 18 years and above. In the event of unforeseen circumstances where you must bring your child to the studio or a class (if explicitly specified in class description that this is appropriate e.g. mother and baby class), you are responsible for supervising your child and their safety.
